This podcast is JCRC Podcast #3, a recording of the 38th annual Middle East Institute, an annual conference designed to educate the community and foster understanding about current topocs relevant to Israel and the Middle East, through commentaries by experts with varying perspectives and backgrounds. Our program this year is entitled "Understanding Israel's Neighborhood and how it affects its survival." Our panelists are Micah Halpern, an expert on the middle east and Islamic fundamentalism; Dr. Harvey Sicherman, president of the Foreign Policy Research Institute, and Dr. Yossi Olmert, a former member of the Israeli government, and brother of current Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. The program is moderated by Howard Joffe and runs about two hours and 15 minutes.
